Court confirm's Conte's 10-month coaching ban

(ANSA) - Rome, August 22 - Juventus coach Antonio Conte's 10-month ban by the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) for a match-fixing offence was upheld by a federal appeals court on Wednesday. Conte, who led Juve to the Serie A title last season, was found guilty of failing to report agreements to fix the results of two matches when he was in charge of Siena in the second tier in the 2010-11 campaign. One of the two instances was cleared in appeals Wednesday, while the other was confirmed by the federal court.
