(ANSA) - Milan, August 20 - Nicole Minetti, one of three people standing trial for allegedly providing prostitutes for alleged sex parties at former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi's home, denied she was making a porn film on Monday. Rumors have been surfacing for the past two months that the Lombardy regional councillor would appear in a film by Riccardo Schicchi, famous for smut films with porn stars Moana Pozzi and Ilona Staller, or Cicciolina. "I have no intention of making a porno, neither with Riccardo Schicchi nor anyone else," said Minetti. Minetti, Berlusconi's former dental hygienist, has been under pressure from the ex-premier's People of Freedom (PdL) party to resign from her post in an apparent effort to purge the party ahead of next year's general elections, when he is expected to run for a fourth term as premier. On Monday she made it clear she had no immediate intention of stepping down. When asked if she planned to continue in politics, her answer was "absolutely yes". For his part, Schicchi said he did not know where the porno rumors came from. "I'm sorry for Minetti, and I beg her pardon," he said.
