(See related) Rome, April 24 - More than 150 bishops and cardinals will participate in the Mass celebrated as part of Sunday's double canonization of two popes, Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said Thursday. About 600 priests will also participate, many administering communion to Catholic faithful participating in Mass from the piazza outside St. Peter's Basilica, he added. A further 200 deacons will administer communion to those even further away from the basilica, along Via della Conciliazione. The concelebrants posted closest to the altar will include Church officials from Italy and Poland, the homelands of the two new saints, pope John XXIII and pope John Paul II.
