Drug-dealing lifeguard arrested, freed in Italy

(ANSA) - Marina di Carrara, August 13 - Italian police have arrested a lifeguard who was dealing drugs to sun-seekers in this seaside summer-vacation town on the Tuscan coast. According to police, the 25-year-old man sold ecstasy and hashish, which he hid in his bathing suit and under his beach umbrella. Plain-clothes police caught onto him after observing how "popular" he had become with beach-goers. After pleading guilty Monday, the man was given a one-year suspended sentence and was then freed.
