(ANSA) - Rome, August 7 - Police in Rome arrested a man in a central Rome hotel Tuesday in connection with the slaying of a carpenter. It is believed that a quarrel over rent payments led to the death of a 43-year-old man whose body was found in his apartment. He had been bound with tape and had suffered some injuries, but the cause of death is thought to be a head wound, police said. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death. The accused, who is from Serbia, was found in a hotel on Rome's central Via del Corso. Police say the man was carrying a wallet and some other possessions that belonged to the victim.
