Vatican City, October 28 - The president of the pontifical council for culture, Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, on Monday paid homage to American rocker Lou Reed. Reed died Sunday at the age of 71 after receiving a liver transplant in May. Ravasi, who is a biblical scholar, Hebrew scholar and theologian, posted a passage from Perfect Day, one of the former Velvet Underground frontman's most famous songs. Ravasi tweeted, "Oh, it's such a perfect day, I'm glad I spend it with you, Oh, such a perfect day, You just keep me hanging on".
