Dead speedboat pilot to be honoured with minute's silence

Rome, September 16 - A minute's silence before all Italian sporting events this week will honour a pilot who died in a Milan speedboat race on Sunday, the Italian Olympic Committee said Monday. Paolo Zantelli, 48, drowned in an accident during a European Championship Formula 2 competition around Milan's Idroscalo lake. His speedboat hit another and flipped, trapping the unconscious pilot.
