Rome, September 13 - The yield spread between Spanish and Italian bonds widened to 10 basis points, in favour of the Bono, amid Italian government uncertainty on Friday. The spread of Italian BTPs from the benchmark German Bund overtook Spain's for the first time in 17 months on Monday. Italy's spread had been significantly lower than Spain's, but the gap has narrowed in recent months after the eurozone debt crisis was apparently brought under control. The Bono's spread has dipped beneath the BTP's amid uncertainty over the future of Italian Premier Enrico Letta's left-right government. The BTP spread from the Bund was steady at 252 points from 253 Thursday, with a 4.54% yield.
