(see related) Rome, September 11 - Dario Stefano of the left-wing SEL party said Wednesday that he will look for a settlement to end the impasse over how best to proceed in the Senate over whether to eject ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi from the Senate. Stefano, who heads the the Senate panel overseeing the issue, said he will try to find a solution that will satisfy all sides. "Tomorrow, in the opening session, I will try to make a proposal," to move parties from entrenched positions, said Stefano, president of the elections and immunity committee in the Senate. It is at the centre of a battle over whether Berlusconi should be stripped of his Senate seat after his conviction for tax fraud last month.
