Italy on course with sound reforms, says G20

St. Petersburg, September 6 - Italy is making good progress on structural reforms within its economy, and should continue on course, the G20 meeting concluded Friday. "Italy has made good progress," particularly in such areas as pension reforms, fiscal management and efficiency, and labour market reforms, the G20 said at its meetings in Russia. The group of leading developed and developing nations urged Italy to continue on its reforms. Italian Premier Enrico Letta warned that the upturn in the global economy should not be "jobless".
