(ANSA) - Rome, July 16 - Fabio Capello is set to become Russia's new coach, the Russian Soccer Federation's Vice President Nikita Simonyan said on Monday. "Today we decided to name Fabio Capello our new coach," Simonyan was quoted as saying by the Itar-Tass agency. "We expect him soon in Moscow to finalise the final details of his contract before signing it". Former AC Milan, AS Roma, Juventus and Real Madrid boss Capello, 65, has been out of work since resigning as England manager in February in protest at the Football Association's decision to strip the national team captaincy from John Terry. According to media reports he will be paid salary of $5-6 million (4.1 million euros) a year to lead Russia to the 2014 World Cup.
