Eni chief meets Iraq PM on boosting output

Rome, September 2 - Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni met Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki Monday to discuss the Italian fuels giant's plans to boost its international consortium's output at the Zubair field near Bassora. Eni and its three consortium partners - Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Korea Gas Corporation and Missan Oil Company - aim to up production from 350,000 barrels a day today to 850,000 barrels in 2016.
