'I'll kill you' not a serious threat, Italian court rules

Rome, August 27 - When an angry woman shouted "I'll kill you" at her husband during a quarrel, it did not constitute a serious threat, Italy's highest appeals court ruled Tuesday. The supreme Cassation Court rejected lower court rulings that found the woman had made threats and posed a danger. Instead, it ruled, her words had to be judged in the context of a quarrel between a husband and wife who have since separated.
