(ANSA) - Rome, July 25 - Cocaine and hashish with a street value of 30 million euros were burned in a Naples incinerator by court order on Wednesday. The drugs were all seized during recent raids by Naples police. Bundled into four sacks, the drugs were fed into a giant oven under heavy guard. In another operation, some 15,000 ecstasy tablets and five kilograms of marijuana hidden in orchids were discovered by the police in the southern city on Wednesday. Officials seized the cargo and also arrested one Italian man during an operation against drug trafficking to the provinces of Campania and Abruzzo. With the help of a sniffer dog, the drugs were found hidden among flowers and plants in a tractor-trailer truck from the Netherlands headed for a delivery in Naples.
