Sheep pursue police taking away marijuana

L'Aquila, August 23 - Sheep pursued police in central Italy Friday as officers uprooted marijuana plants growing where the flock used to live and eat. The animals, evidently used to eating the two-meter-high foliage on a daily basis, "rebelled" when officers outside L'Aquila removed the crop, grown illegally by locals, police said. The owner of the land and sheep was reported to police.
