Modena, August 21 - Two small tremors rumbled through northern Italy Wednesday. The first struck at 7:32 local time in the Apennine Mountains outside Modena, registering 2.4 magnitude. The second struck roughly 30 minutes later in the provinces of Massa Carrara and Lucca, registering 2.9 magnitude. No damage or injury has been reported. Small earthquakes have been hitting the entire country over the past week, stretching from Sicily to Rome and to northern Italy.
