Infamous gunman arrested on new charges in Italy

Cuneo, August 13 - Police in Italy have arrested an infamous gunman on new charges. Giampaolo Morosini, who made off with the equivalent of over $24 million in a 1984 armored-truck heist, was charged Tuesday with extortion and exploitation in the northern city of Cuneo. Police say he forced a victim to pay 100,000 euros on a 24,000-euro loan over the course of years. Morosini was allegedly caught in the act of shaking down his victim for 200 euros. He served 12 years in prison for his 1980s heist.
