Rome, August 12 - Italy coach Cesare Prandelli said Monday he hoped Pope Francis would come to see Italy play Argentina in Wednesday's friendly in honour of the soccer-loving Argentine pontiff at Rome's Olympic Stadium. "The Pope seeing Italy-Argentina? Of course I hope he will", Prandelli told reporters. The squads will have an audience with Francis Tuesday ahead of a match the Vatican said will help launch an international schools network based on the pope's work as an archbishop in Buenos Aires. Prandelli said he might be too overcome by the thrill of seeing the pope to formally extend an invitation. "I don't know if I'll be able to ask him to come tomorrow, because of the emotion, but I hope he will," he said.
