Rome, August 5 - Italian Premier Enrico Letta will participate at a meeting of Democratic Party (PD) leaders on Thursday, caretaker PD Secretary Guglielmo Epifani said on Monday. "In addition to the political issues of the moment, party rules will also be on the agenda," Epifani said. On Friday Epifani said the upcoming congress will be held to elect a new permanent leader by the end of November. "I think we are ready to finish the work that the congress has already begun," he said. Letta rallied his center-left party on Friday, calling for a unified front and a leader who focuses on the party above all else.
