Italian astronaut says he is ready to resume space walk

Rome, August 5 - Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano was preparing Monday for his previously postponed space walk outside the International Space Station. The last walk, originally scheduled for July 19, was postponed because of a water leakage in his space helmet. That seems to have been fixed and he and colleague Christopher Cassidy are ready to go, he said Monday. "Chris and I have the equipment ready and everything in position," said Parmitano. "We just have to collect all the components that we had brought...and we are ready to pick up where we left off". During last month's attempt, Parmitano's eyes, nose and mouth were soaked from water inside the helmet after an hour, and the six-hour spacewalk was called off
