Light aircraft crashes, two dead in northern Italy

(ANSA) – Treviso, July 26 – A light airplane crashed Friday after it flew into high-voltage cables in the northern Italian town of Colfosco di Grave di Piave, in the province of Treviso, killing two people on board. The plane, which was registered in Switzerland, was reportedly carrying tourists. Another light aircraft, which was part of the same party, landed safely near the crash site. Police are currently on the scene.
