Milan, July 24 - A labor flexibility proposal for Expo Milan 2015 could become a broader employment model for Italy, Labour Committee President Maurizio Sacconi said on Wednesday. The agreement, which is for now "limited" will be applied to 800 workers, Sacconi said. "It is a laboratory...an isolated case," he said. The agreement between unions and Expo organizers allows those with stands at the Expo to hire workers temporarily during the event. Milan's Expo 2015 will open on May 1, 2015 and continue until October 31 of that year.
