Unemployed protesters interrupt council meeting in Livorno

(ANSA) - Livorno, July 30 - Protesters burst into a city council meeting in the Tuscan port town of Livorno Monday with banners demanding "income and services" for unemployed. Demonstrators distributed leaflets reading "Livorno has the country's second-highest unemployment" and "we are Italy's hidden secret". The meeting resumed minutes after the 10 protesters were taken away by police.
