Forest worker 'killed by mafia' in Sicily

Enna, July 16 - The Sicilian mafia killed a forest worker near the town of Enna Tuesday, police said. Giovanni Gulino, 44, was shot dead by two killers after getting in his car to go to work, they said. Gulino had a criminal record for drugs and weapons offences, police said. One of his brothers was slain in Germany in 2002, the victim of a mafia feud. Separately, police seized 25 million euros in assets including two construction and demolition companies from a businessman suspected of links to a clan in the town of Gela. Police said Sandro Missuto, 34, was linked to the Emmannello clan.
