Milan Exchange opens on weak note after S & P rating drops

Milan, July 10 - Italy's leading stock market opened on a sluggish note Wednesday following a cut in its ratings on Tuesday by ratings agency Standard & Poor's, down to BBB from BBB+ with a negative outlook. On the Milan Stock Exchange, the FTSE-Mib lost 0.41% to open at 15,725 points. The FTSE-Mib slipped by 0.06% to close on Tuesday at 15,790 points.
