Asti, July 4 - A former member of the 1970s-'80s Red Brigades (BR) leftist terrorist group was arrested on drugs charges Thursday. Police said they found 300 grammes of marijuana in the home of Renato Longo, a BR member whose evidence helped convict one of the group's leaders, Mario Moretti, for the 1978 kidnap and murder of Christian Democrat statesman Aldo Moro. Longo, 57, had previous drugs convictions, police said.
