Three arrested at Rome airport with 22 kilos of cocaine

Rome, July 2 - Police at Rome's Fiumicino airport on Tuesday arrested three drug traffickers carrying some 22 kilograms of cocaine worth over five million euros. Two of the drug runners from Cyprus and Ukraine had hidden the drugs under a false bottom of their checked luggage. The third, a Brazilian who said she was travelling to Italy for religious reasons, had hidden the drugs in her carry-on bag. All three were arriving from Fortaleza, Brazil.
