Labor union talks keep visitors to Pompeii waiting for entry

Naples, June 28 - A labor union meeting on Friday at Pompeii's archeological site near the city of Naples kept some 500 tourists lined up and waiting for entry throughout the morning. Talks among CGIL, CISL and UIL workers' unions also impacted visitors to the other nearby sites of the Roman cities Herculaneum, Oplontis, Stabia and Boscoreale - all buried along with Pompeii in the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD.
