Most young Italia use friends, family to seek work

Rome, June 27 - The majority of young Italians looking for work, 77.6%, said that they do so through "friends, family and acquaintances," the country's statistics agency Istat said on Thursday. The agency said that compared to 2008, that is 4% more who rely on word-of-mouth as a way to find employment. Other job-hunting methods those surveyed said they turned to include sending out one's CV (74.6%) and internet searches (62.2%).
