Six month old baby in critical condition after carriage hit

Rimini, June 21 - A six-month-old infant is in critical condition in a Rimini hospital after his carriage was struck by a driver while his mother was pushing it, police said on Friday. The driver reportedly hit the push-buggy at full speed and drug it for some meters as the mother was crossing the city's busy via Emilia on Thursday evening, going to church. The car, described as a white Fiat Panda, then sped off without stopping. Doctors said that the child was alive, but fighting for his life.
