M5S whip says plot hatched to lure away party members

Rome, June 14 - The newly instated House whip for the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) on Friday said a plot had been hatched in an effort to "morally and politically lure away" members of the party. "We won't be afraid to name names," said Riccardo Nuti. "The level of attack against the M5S has risen and aimed right at the heart of the Movement". The party is thought to be in a state of turmoil after two M5S Senators spoke out this week against the leader of the party, comedian Beppe Grillo, as the reason behind its flop in recent local elections across the country.
