League councillor 'kicked out' over calling for Kyenge rape

(see related) Genoa, June 13 - The head of the anti-immigrant Northern League said Thursday one of its councillors will be expelled from the party for saying someone should rape Italy's first black minister. "I don't know this councillor. I spoke with (the regional party head) who said she'll be kicked out," said Roberto Maroni, who is also the governor of the northern Lombardy region. Earlier Thursday, Padua Councillor Dolores Valandro said someone should rape Integration Minister Cecile Kyenge, "to make her understand what the victim of this heinous crime feels".
