More than 40,000 magazine readers hit by prize scam

Rome, June 12 - More than 40,000 readers of Italian magazines fell victim to a scam in which promised prizes for sending in coupons were never delivered, police said Wednesday. Claimants were charged heavily for making phone calls to a Padua man, who has been arrested.
