Two men stopped for alleged theft of 600 kg of copper

Bologna, June 6 - Police outside Bologna stopped a truck on Thursday containing 600kg of copper believed to be stolen. Manning the Iveco truck with 34 skeins of metal in the back were a 21-year-old unemployed man and a 31-year-old craftsman with a police record for crimes against property. When asked where the copper came from, the men refused to give a response, police said. Preliminary investigations suggests that the copper came from a warehouse or from a railway line nearby.
