Letta says Italy must stop pretending to pass reforms

Rome, May 29 - Premier Enrico Letta told the Senate Wednesday that Italy's politicians must stop "pretending" to launch reforms, as parliament starts work on profound changes to make the country easier to govern. "It's unimaginable that we continue to not notice that we are pretending to pass reforms, rowing over reforms to pass while not doing anything," he said.
