Envelope of grey powder delivered to Italian newspaper

Rome, May 27 - An envelope containing grey powder was sent to the Milan offices of Il Giornale, the Italian newspaper reported on its website on Monday. Firemen and the anti-terrorism DIGOS police intervened at the paper, which is owned by the family of three-time premier and leader of the centre-right Silvio Berlusconi. Il Giornale reported that a secretary who opened the envelope is undergoing tests for possible anthrax exposure at a local hospital, and that a similar envelope also arrived on Monday at the national paper Il Corriere della Sera.
