Baby deer rescued after wandering into Genoa

Genoa, May 22 - Forest rangers in the Ligurian city of Genoa on Wednesday were called to rescue three baby roe deer stranded the Val Bisagno neighborhood and in the suburb of Lumarzo. One of the fawns was found in a municipal government courtyard and the other two in nearby gardens. Animal rescue workers believe that the young male deer were forced to flee to the city by rival adults. All three were safely returned to the wild.
