Turin, May 20 - Police on Monday arrested seven armed men accused of carrying out a military-like assault on a bar and attempting to burn the owner with acid in retaliation for an old drug deal gone bad. "This was a military-like act, planned and organize to the smallest detail," said Turin prosecutor Paolo Borgna Police said the suspects, described as Moroccan nationals, were carrying guns, knives and muriatic acid when they stormed into a bar in Turin in February in search of the owner, who escaped through a window. His two nephews and several clients were injured by splashes of acid, police said. Seven additional suspects are still at large. The alleged mastermind of the assault, 38-year-old Jlali Hajbi, was in custody.
