Turin, May 17 - Fiat Group sales in Europe fell 9.8% in April as the European market saw a 1.8% gain after 18 straight drops. The Fiat marque alone dropped 4% as the group's market share rose 0.3% to 6.3% between March and April. "The results were affected by the sluggish Italian market," the Turin giant said in a statement. Italy lagged the rest of Europe for April sales with France also dropping. Germany, Spain and the UK all gained.
