Firecracker disrupts Milan-Turin rail line

(ANSA) – Turin, May 9 - Bomb squads were called Thursday to remove an explosive device discovered by maintenance workers on the high-speed rail line between Settimo and Turin in Northern Italy. The device turned out to be a firecracker. Traffic was rerouted as officials secured the area, leading to delays of approximately one hour on the Turin-Milan rail line.
