First magazine devoted to caretakers for the elderly

Padua, May 7 - Italy's first magazine devoted entirely to caretakers for the elderly was launched on Tuesday. Every two months, 'Rivsita della Bandante' (The Caretaker's Magazine), covers the tricks of the trade, from dealing with the families of the aging to cutting through the bureaucratic red tape that comes with the territory. Published by Rupolo Edizioni, the magazine is based in Padua and available throughout the surrounding Veneto region and select cities elsewhere in northern Italy. It is distributed for free in hospitals and employment centers. Italy has one of the highest youth-unemployment rates as well as one of the biggest elderly populations in Europe.
