Mall hostage takers arrested outside Rome

Viterbo, May 3 - A heavily armed gang who took 20 people hostage in a mall in central Italy has been apprehended, police said Friday. The four men from Rome were wanted for robbing a shopping center in Viterbo and terrorizing shoppers while under the influence of cocaine in October. Two of the suspects are accused of a similar heist at a Carrefour supermarket in Rome.
