Fiumicino, May 3 - Nineteen Alitalia workers were arrested and 30 placed under investigation Friday in a probe into baggage theft at Rome's Fiumicino Airport. The 19 baggage handlers were placed under house arrest. Another 10 people were arrested and 27 placed under investigation at airports across the country. The 'Clean Holds' operation targeted Lamezia Terme, Bari, Bologna, Milan Linate, Naples, Palermo, Rome Fiumicino and Verona airports.
