Pope Emeritus to move to Vatican lodgings this week

Vatican City, April 29 - Former Pope Benedict XVI will be returning to the Vatican this week after restoration works on his future residence have been completed. The Pope Emeritus had been living in Castel Gandolfo while restoration works on an apartment in the Mater Ecclesiae monastery were being carried out. According to officials in the Vatican, Benedict will be moving into his new lodgings sometime between the end of April and the very first days of May, perhaps May 2.
