Iveco to supply Iraq with 1,660 trucks

Turin, April 26 - Fiat-owned truck maker Iveco on Friday signed a three-year deal to supply the Iraqi electricity ministry with 1,660 vehicles. In the 125-million-euro deal, part of the Italian company's plans to expand in the Middle East and Africa, Iveco will supply light and medium trucks to maintain Iraq's power lines. Iveco is part of Fiat Industrial, a separate company created last year for the Turin car-maker's truck, earth-moving and related manufacturing and financial operations.
