Pope feels 'welcome' by Vatican cardinals on St George's Day

Vatican City, April 23 - Pope Francis on Tuesday told cardinals at the Vatican he felt welcome there on St George's Day, the first name day of former Buenos Aires archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio as pontiff on Tuesday. "I thank you who wanted to come today. Thank you, I feel welcome by you. Thank you, I feel comfortable with you, I like this," said the pope at a mass inside the Pauline Chapel. Francis, the first Jesuit pope and first from Latin America, was considered a Vatican outsider upon being elected in a conclave last month. After the mass Tuesday, the band of the Swiss Guard played a small concert in his honor outside the chapel. Cake was also served. Earlier on his name day he posted a message on Twitter. "Mary is the one who says 'Yes'. Mary, help us to come to know the voice of Jesus better, and to follow it.
