Berlusconi sex trial suspended till May 13

Milan, April 22 - Judges in Milan on Monday suspended until May 13 the trial into allegations ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi paid for sex with an underage prostitute as they wait for the supreme court to rule on whether the case should be transferred. On May 6 the supreme Court of Cassation will assess a request from Berlusconi's lawyers that the sex trial and his appeal against a four-year conviction for tax fraud on film rights involving his Mediaset media group be moved to the nearby city of Brescia. Berlusconi says the Milan judges are biased against him.
