Napolitano re-elected Italian president

Rome, April 20 - President Giorgio Napolitano was re-elected Italy's head of state on Saturday in a sixth ballot of Upper and Lower House lawmakers and representatives of the country's regions. The 87-year-old is the first Italian president to be re-elected. Those present applauded when Napolitano passed the magic number of 504 votes.
