Napolitano agrees to stand for president again

Rome, April 20 - President Giorgio Napolitano on Saturday agreed to pleas from Italy's political parties to be a candidate to be head of state again after five ballots failed to elect a successor to the 87-year-old. If he is elected in a sixth ballot later on Saturday he will become the first Italian president to be re-elected.
