Nuoro, April 18 - An animal farmer and his wife were found murdered on their rural, southern Sardinian farm by their daughter early Thursday morning. The body of Albino Farris, 58, was outside in the courtyard. His wife, Veronica Foddis, 55, was in the homestead. Both had been shot. Carabinieri paramilitary police are now questioning relatives, friends and neighbors for clues in the small, tranquil farming community of Gergei, in the province of Cagliari.
